  1. Hi Christine,
Thanks for being a follower on my blog. Too bad we teach at such different levels. I also like to do outdoor activities but not usually any water activities since I live so far away from the beach! :( Loved your pics!

  2. Hi Christine,

Thought I would post since it looks like we have the same interests. I am the Head Football Coach at Delaware Hayes High School in Ohio. I see that you coach Cheerleading and love the outdoors. I just completed a 2 day fishing excursion on Alum Lake in Columbus and captures some tremendous pics (and a couple fish too). I have a great relationship with our Cheerleading advisor and understand the importance of extra-curricular activities as it appears you do. Now back to the real stuff: Do you plan on using this format more in the classroom or have you found it to be too difficult to implement. Thanks, Mike

  3. Hello! What other blogs are you all using outside of the ones we have created for week one? I am trying to find more professional sites to post to, but am finding them difficult to find.

  4. Hi Christine! Have you ever been to Montana! We have some great white water rafting spots here. I've never gone myself but have friends who love it! I love being outdoors myself...every day, rain or shine!

  5. Christine,
You made two points on your initial blog posting that I can closely relate to. I was one of those students who would rather be hit over the head than raise my hand to answer a question in class. I was always fearful of getting the answer wrong. Blogging is such a non-threatening way of communicating thoughts and ideas. Also, there are many children and adults who get paralyzed by test anxiety. We have all had those kids who we are certain know the material, but fail the tests. Using the blog postings as an informal assessment tool is a great idea.
    Kim :)
